Population
According to Central Bureau of Statistics (CBS) data from the end of 2016, Raanana has 71,686 residents. The population has increased at an annual rate of 1.3%. According to the 2016 CBS data, Raanana is ranked in the 8th cluster out of 10 in the socio-economic index. Today Raanana is an advanced and developing city, and has won prizes and awards, such as
“Israel’s Green City”

Transport
Two fast connecting roads pass by the city, Road 4 to the east and Road 531 to the south. They are both major arteries to the Tel Aviv metropolitan area. Road 4 is a main artery to the north of the country, and Road 531 connects to Road 2, which is also a main artery to the north. The city has two train stations: Raanana South and Raanana West.

Industrial area
In the northern part of the city is an industrial and commercial area called Kiryat Etgarim, covering an area of 900 dunams, which is home to businesses and high-tech companies including HP, Nice, Emblaze, NCR (formerly Retalix), SAP, Comverse, and Texas Instruments, as well as Renanim Mall and many stores, workshops, restaurants, places of entertainment, and so on.

Community
Raanana has a very large religious community, including people from France and from English-speaking countries. There are also non—Orthodox congregations, such as the Raanan-Beit Shmueli congregation, belonging to the Movement for Progressive Judaism, and the Conservative Movement’s Amitai congregation

Raanana Park 
Raanana Park is the ‘green lung’ of the city, established by a large budgetary investment. The park has an amphitheater, a lake, café, gallery, walking and cycling paths, sports fields, a petting zoo, and sculptures. The Amphi-Park on the north-western side of the park hosts many singers and bands.

Brenner Street
Located in the south-central part of the city, just a few minutes’ walk from Ahuza, the main street of Raanana, with its range of shops, cafes, and other businesses. At the same time, the house is in a very quiet part of the street, in an area with a tranquil, rural atmosphere, a rare combination in such a central location in the city.

Shani Group was established by Tali Shani and Sivan Shani, two realtors who decided to bring their unique world view to the real estate market in Israel.
